Now, I may not have the best track record in the world, but I have been with your stepmother for ten years now, and I’m proud to say that we’re very happy. In my opinion, the best thing you can do is to find a person who loves you for exactly what you are. Good mood, bad mood, ugly, pretty, handsome, what have you, the right person will still think that the sun shines out your ass. That’s the kind of person that’s worth sticking with. That’s the person I want to be. I want to believe that no matter how terrible things are, no matter how much I hurt or how badly I want to be there to make her feel better when she won’t let me… I still believe that she’s my sunshine. I guess even the sun hides behind the clouds now and again.
